Kimology," created and hosted by Kim Newsome, is a distinctive talk show that merges live music akin to NPR's Tiny Desk concerts with traditional talk show elements. This format allows for a vibrant exploration of artists' crafts and personal stories, particularly highlighting Black creatives in the Kansas City community. Initially started as a podcast under the same name, "Kimology" has not only won the Kansas City People's Choice Award for Best Podcast in 2021 but has also become a key platform for artists to gain exposure and for audiences to engage with local talents​.

Kim Newsome also known as Kimology is a creative force. She is a Kansas City native and has made a major impact on the the media culture in her city.  She has gained great success with her Kansas City People's Choice Award Winning Talk Show, "Kimology," a show dedicated to creating a platform for other black creatives to promote their projects and to receive their flowers. Kim's mission is to inform, inspire and to entertain the world. Her mantra, "Keep Blooming" is used to empower those around her to keep dreaming, and to keep evolving.
